Three interesting things I’ve learned in the last month or so.
Approximately 90% of the pre-1492 native population of the North and South America was killed by European diseases, pretty much by accident.1
Giraffes don’t yawn. At least, no one has ever seen a giraffe yawn.2
If you are a dude in a helicopter, you do not want to piss off Bruce Willis.3

Domestic Air Travel Hacks
I spent the weekend traveling, and it struck me that, after many years of adding rules to my personal packing-and-deployment system, my trips go pretty smoothly.
